    Is the analysis paid?

    In standard recovery scenarios the analysis is free. For emergency service and previously opened devices, 2,500 TL plus VAT applies.

    How do I send my device?

    Use an anti-static bag or the original packaging; insured shipping is recommended. The shipping label is displayed on your tracking page.

    Is the data safe?

    Your device password is encrypted with AES 256 GCM. Access is recorded in the audit log and is not visible to the customer.

    Data Recovery Service Terms

    DSET Data Recovery Customer Agreement

    The clauses below define the obligations of both our side and yours. The DSET team works under laboratory conditions with the ATK 2026 reference; the entire process is protected with AES 256 GCM encryption and an auditable record is kept. Please read all 14 clauses before creating a request.

    1. Physical intervention consent. For faults requiring physical opening of your device, approving the quote means the media will be opened under laboratory conditions, and after this stage the device cannot be returned in its original sealed state.
    2. Shipping costs. The responsibility and cost of transport in both directions belong to the requester. Cash-on-delivery shipments are not accepted; return shipping is sent via the carrier you choose.
    3. Payment timing. Payment is collected in advance when the recovered data is delivered to you. Bank transfers, credit cards, and corporate payments against an invoice are accepted.
    4. Transfer to new media. Recovered data can optionally be transferred to a new disk you supply or to media purchased from us. During the transfer, the original media is taken out of service.
    5. Period after the result notification. If no response is received within 15 calendar days after we provide notification, no return guarantee is given. Devices exceeding 30 calendar days are disposed of with a destruction report.
    6. Confidentiality agreement. Upon your request, a bilateral NDA is signed with you; the content can be tailored to the specific request.
    7. Spare part costs. In scenarios requiring additional hardware such as a donor disk, PCB replacement, or head assembly transfer, the part cost is added to the approved quote and collected before the process starts. The hardware cost is independent of the recovery outcome and is non-refundable.
    8. Result guarantee. Data recovery by its nature carries no commitment. Part of the data may be recovered, but the process may also end unsuccessfully. In case of an unsuccessful result, DSET provides its technical report; it assumes no liability beyond that.
    9. Pre-existing corrupt data. Data losses caused by file system corruption, software encryption, virus effects, or user error occurring before the media reaches you are outside DSET's scope. The recovery is considered technically complete.
    10. Standard analysis fee. The analysis fees stated for the data recovery items on our website are binding. The diagnosis process begins after the fee is collected; if the quote is not accepted, the analysis fee is non-refundable.
    11. Urgent and on-site service. When you request a diagnosis time shorter than 24 hours or an on-site inspection, the analysis fee is collected before the process starts. The standard urgent diagnosis fee is applied as 2,500 TL plus VAT. For RAID, NAS, enterprise storage, and server-class structures, the fee varies depending on scope.
    12. Previously handled media. A fixed analysis fee of 2,500 TL plus VAT is applied for the diagnosis of devices that have been opened or subjected to unauthorized intervention by another technical service or data recovery company. Additional damage resulting from previous interventions is not DSET's responsibility.
    13. Risks during shipping. Any breakage, damage, loss, or substitution that may occur during transport is entirely the responsibility of the carrier. Insured shipping of your device is recommended; you can request the packaging guide via the contact form.
    14. Operational risks. During physical interventions, unforeseeable outcomes such as media going silent, platter damage, controller failure, or BIOS drop may occur. In such cases, DSET reports the process transparently but assumes no liability for additional damage that may occur to the device.
    Legal Consents

    When you submit, a tracking code will be generated for your request and a link will be sent to your email address.

    Transparency instead of a guarantee. A data recovery outcome inherently does not include a commitment. Our promise is: a complete analysis report, a one-time price quote, and a process visible to you at every stage.
